Why we built Trustory

Work history is one of the most valuable assets a person owns.

Yet in many labor markets, that history is fragmented, difficult to verify, easy to lose, and often controlled only by the institution where it was created. That creates friction for workers, employers, and the wider economy.

Workers deserve a portable, credible record of their work that follows them beyond a single employer and supports future opportunities.

Institutions need a reliable and structured way to issue and verify employment records without relying on weak manual reference systems.

Worker identity foundation
Each worker is anchored to a stable TRU-ID, creating the foundation for long-term verified employment history.

Institution verification
Institutions are reviewed and audited before they can issue records into the system. Trustory does not trust institutions by default.

Consent-led access
Future employers can discover identity signals, but deeper employment history remains protected until the worker approves access.

Append-only audit trail
Disputes, corrections, and final rectifications remain visible to preserve transparency and system integrity over time.
